Unplanned nights are quite often the best :)

On Friday night I went to the orientation evening for the Korean language class I'll be starting next week. Yes, I am beginning to learn the language of this country after being here twenty-one months and now due to leave in three... problem?! Better late than not at all as they say!

I ended up making a new friend at the orientation, who, coincidentally, lives in the building right next door to me and has done the whole time I've been here! Couldn't quite put my finger on where I'd seen her but it quickly became clear that we've been walking past each other around Sinjeong for quite some time. After the meeting Stephany (new said friend) invited me to join her in her plans to meet a friend for drinks so I took her up on her offer and we had a wonderful night. Unplanned nights often turn out the best.
